Crawford is located in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, approximately fifteen miles southeast of Athens and eighty miles northeast of metropolitan Atlanta. Incorporated in 1878, Crawford is currently home to a population of about 830 residents who enjoy the moderate humid subtropical climate that graces their city with hot summers, cool winters, and absolutely lovely weather during spring and fall!
